1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Ryvl application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years of age to use Ryvl. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. Subscription Terms

• Ryvl offers auto-renewing subscription plans (Monthly and Annual) with a 3-day free trial.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store account settings.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Ryvl uses artificial intelligence to generate physique scores, dream body visualizations, workout plans, and nutrition recommendations. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated scores and images are for motivational and informational purposes only and do not constitute medical, health, or fitness advice.
• Dream body visualizations are AI-generated approximations and do not guarantee specific results.
• You should consult with a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new exercise or nutrition program.
• Ryvl is not responsible for any injuries, health issues, or adverse effects resulting from following AI-generated plans.

4b. Accuracy Disclaimer

AI physique scores are estimates generated by analyzing photos and are not clinical assessments. Scores may vary based on photo quality, lighting, clothing, and angle. Ryvl makes no guarantee that scores accurately reflect your actual physical condition, body composition, or fitness level. Do not make health or medical decisions based on scores generated by this App.

4c. Dream Body Visualization Disclaimer

Dream body visualizations are AI-generated images created for motivational purposes only. They are not representations of guaranteed or achievable results. Individual results from exercise and nutrition programs vary significantly based on genetics, consistency, existing fitness level, and other factors. These images should not be interpreted as promises of what you will look like. If you experience negative feelings about your body as a result of viewing these images, please consult a mental health professional.

4d. Nutrition Disclaimer

Macro and calorie recommendations provided by Ryvl are general estimates based on standard nutritional formulas including the Mifflin-St Jeor equation. They are not personalized medical or nutritional advice. Do not follow these recommendations if you have any medical condition including but not limited to diabetes, eating disorders, cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, or any condition requiring a specialized diet without first consulting your doctor or registered dietitian. Ryvl is not liable for any health consequences resulting from following nutrition recommendations generated by this App.

4e. Exercise and Injury Disclaimer

Workout plans generated by Ryvl are general fitness programming created for informational purposes. Ryvl is not a certified personal trainer, physical therapist, or medical professional. Exercise carries inherent risk of injury. Always warm up before exercising, use proper form, and stop immediately if you experience pain. Ryvl is not liable for any injuries, strains, or physical harm resulting from following workout plans generated by this App. Consult a certified fitness professional or physician before starting any new exercise program especially if you are new to exercise, have pre-existing injuries, or have any medical conditions.

4f. Mental Health and Body Image

Ryvl is designed to motivate and support your fitness journey. We recognize that body image is a sensitive topic. If you find that using this App is negatively impacting your mental health, self-esteem, or relationship with your body, please stop using the App and speak with a qualified mental health professional. If you have or suspect you have an eating disorder or body dysmorphic disorder, please consult a healthcare professional before using this App.

5. User-Generated Content

Photos you upload to Ryvl are stored securely and are never shared publicly, sold, or used for purposes other than providing you with the App's services (physique scoring and dream body visualization). You retain ownership of all photos you upload.

By uploading photos to Ryvl you grant us a limited license to process and analyze those photos solely for the purpose of providing the App's services. Photos are processed by third party AI services including Anthropic Claude API and fal.ai under their respective privacy policies. Photos are stored securely in Supabase cloud storage. You represent and warrant that you are the subject of all photos you upload or have explicit consent from the subject. You must not upload photos of minors under any circumstances.

6. Refund Policy

All purchases and refunds are handled through the Apple App Store. To request a refund, visit Apple's support page or contact Apple directly. Ryvl does not process payments or refunds directly.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload photos of other people without their consent.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App.
• Abuse, harass, or harm other users or Ryvl staff.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ryvl and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Third Party Services

Ryvl uses the following third party services to provide its functionality: Anthropic Claude API for AI physique analysis, fal.ai for dream body image generation, Supabase for data storage and authentication, Apple StoreKit for subscription management. Your use of Ryvl is subject to the privacy policies and terms of service of these third party providers. Ryvl is not responsible for the practices of these third party services.

12. No Medical Advice

Ryvl is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Nothing in this App should be construed as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read or seen in this App.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of South Carolina.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between you and Ryvl regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
